- 1 Knorr beef cube
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
- 1 medium-sized onion, minced
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 medium-sized onion, quartered
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 tsp. salt
- ⅛ tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 pc. raw egg, for serving (optional)
Once you have gathered all the required ingredients, it’s time to cook it up.
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Knorr beef cube, bread crumbs, minced onion, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly.
- Scoop 2 ½ tbsp. of the mixture and shape it into a patty. Do this procedure with the remaining meat mixture.
- Heat a cooking pan or griddle and melt butter.
- Cook the patties for about 3 minutes per side, or until the color turns medium brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Meanwhile, prepare the mushroom gravy. Melt remaining butter in a clean pan.
- Saute onions until it becomes translucent, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until it’s tender.
- Sprinkle flour, mix and let it cook for a minute or so.
- Add the beef broth gradually and keeping stirring to remove lumps, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Season it with salt and pepper according to your taste preference.
- Place the burger patties back into the pan and let it simmer for another 10 minutes in low heat to absorb those delicious flavors.
- Now, here’s a little secret tip for you. Fry an egg and put it right on top of your Burger Steak. It’s optional, but we highly recommend it! 😉
