Oooh child, summer is here and ain’t nobody got time for baking in the heat! Luckily for us, I found some bomb no-bake dessert recipes that will have you drooling. One of my faves is this easy Ice Cream Cake recipe that will make you feel like a master chef without breaking a sweat. Let’s get started!
Super Simple Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 (18.25 oz.) box of yellow cake mix
- 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
- 1 (16 oz.) container of whipped topping
- 1 cup of fudge sauce
Instructions:
- Follow the instructions on the cake mix and bake in two 9-inch round cake pans. Let the cakes cool completely.
- Take the ice cream out of the freezer and let it melt a bit until it becomes spreadable.
- Place one of the cake layers on a plate and spread half of the ice cream on top. Repeat with the second cake layer and the remaining ice cream.
- Heat the fudge sauce in the microwave for about 20 seconds, then drizzle it over the top of the cake.
- Spread the whipped topping over the entire cake, making sure to cover the fudge sauce.
- Place the cake in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until frozen solid.
- Take the cake out of the freezer about 10 minutes before serving to let it soften a bit.
Ain’t Nobody Got Time for Baking with This Delicious Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate wafer cookies
- 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup of chopped nuts
Instructions:
- Cover the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan with a layer of chocolate wafer cookies.
- Take the ice cream out of the freezer and let it soften a bit.
- Spoon half of the ice cream over the cookies, then sprinkle half of the chopped nuts over the ice cream.
- Repeat with another layer of cookies, ice cream, and nuts.
- Freeze the cake for at least 2 hours or until frozen solid.
- Remove the cake from the springform pan and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Refreshing and Delicious Ice Cream Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 (8 oz.) container of whipped topping
- 1 (8 oz.) container of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
- 1 package of Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
Instructions:
- Mix the whipped topping, sour cream, and sugar together in a bowl, then put it in the refrigerator to chill.
- Let the ice cream soften a bit and spread it into a 9×13 inch pan.
- Mix the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter together, then spread them on top of the ice cream.
- Cover the Oreo layer with the whipped topping mixture and freeze the cake for at least 1 hour or until firm.
